Value Family Properties, under the direction of William S. Dalton, was formed as a result of years of mobile home community acquisitions with a wonderful track record of success.

The name “Value Family” describes our mission to enrich lives and add value to our investors, employees, tenants, mobile home communities and their surrounding towns and cities. As we move forward in our mission to maximize family value and optimize opportunities in the affordable housing market, we are continually working to build bright new futures in each community we develop. The mobile home community industry has experienced dramatic changes in the past few years. These changes have created unique opportunities for our company.

The Goal

Value Family Properties (VFP), was formed to accomplish the goal of “giving the dream of home ownership back to all Americans.”

Too often, the low-income or minimum wage-earning family is forced to live in sub-standard housing. Their hope for home ownership remains a dream, their dignity is taken away, and their confidence of providing a safe and stable home life for their children goes unrealized. We believe every family in this country should have a realistic opportunity to own their own home.

VFP has already enabled many families to realize their dream of owning a home, and will continue to provide this opportunity as we move forward. VFP was formed for the purpose of buying mobile home communities, improving the communities by developing infrastructure and through quality of life enhancements, and then selling them at a gain.

VFP has found that in many cases, by improving the community’s infrastructure, and making minor adjustments in rent and management, profits can be greatly increased and the quality of life in a community can be greatly enhanced. The name Value Family Properties was chosen to identify the core goal of the company which is to provide a new value of opportunity to the American family. This new value is home ownership in a safe, family-centered community.
